We employ narrow band ultrasonic sensors to transmit 40kHz pulses for ranging using fixed anchor nodes. Mobile nodes are attached to a swinging pendulum to find the best-case accuracy at various moving velocities. A camera motion capture system is used as a reference to compare the performance. Test results were analyzed and discussed on how ultrasonic localization system can be used for future works in future localization projects.
