In Year 2001, Energy Market Authority (EMA) has started the liberalisation of electricity market initiative to help business consumers in giving them more options in managing their electricity costs. In Year 2018, EMA launched the Open Electricity Market to all household consumers progressively by zones. This initiative will allow 1.4 million of households and business consumers more flexibility in choosing their preferred electricity price plans. There are currently 14 electricity retailers with 40 over price plans. In this project, an analysis of electricity price plan mobile application was developed to help the consumers in choosing the most ideal price plans for their consumption needs through the use of machine learning capabilities. The mobile application was also catered to the retailers and administrators for tariff rate prediction to forecast the next-month tariff rate, and the editing of the database through the mobile application.
