Description
Summary:Often a skill required to efficiently complete the countless tasks in the 21st century, it is no wonder multitasking has become a customary gauge of an individual’s overall performance level. However, a bad mastery level of this skill can backfire and result in even lower accuracy and time efficacy than when focusing on tasks one at a time. Through this project, a two-dimensional (2D) multitasking-centric game, “Rogue Run” is built with the aim of enhancing individuals’ multitasking capabilities. The level design of this game is modelled after the test structures from multiple renowned formal multitasking assessments, yet innovating it to be more enjoyable and less time consuming. In the user study carried out towards the end of this project, the reputable SCHUHFRIED SIMKAP test was chosen to serve as the main source for comparison, with the intention of analysing the credibility of the game created in this project.
