Description
Summary:Leather products have been around for a long time. Technology advancement has made producing synthetic leather affordable, accessible and of good quality. Yet, the demand for genuine leather continues. Brands also like to label their items as genuine leather as a selling point or a mark of authenticity. It is not necessary to use genuine leather in these products. There is simply too much damage done to animals, the environment and even humans in the production of genuine leather and products. Despite vegan leather being available and used in production of leather products, genuine leather retains its glory and demand. This project seeks to understand how best to advocate for vegan leather and persuade consumers to choose the vegan versions over genuine ones by increasing awareness on vegan leather and the accessibility of it.
