Description
Summary:This report discusses the processes that the author was involved in while working on the Computer Graphics (CG) animation project Dasein, consisting of one other teammate. The project’s story is about a boy in the park, who must overcome his inner struggle to save the worm that stole his food, upon realising that the worm is more than just a thief. Taking inspiration from the routine life of the author’s past experience in the workforce, the story was formed, and slowly took shape as an animation short through the different stages of production, in hope that its audience would take time to appreciate the little things in life. It was found that giving more time to pre-production helped with saving time on the later stages, while animating alone made it harder to keep to the production timeline。
