Description
Summary:The recent speedy development of computer technology, Internet of things (IoT) and Industrial 4.0 over the past couple of years are promoting the need for massive secure communication for wireless devices. Technologies such as Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) are driving the continuous integration of controlling and processing the functionality of IoT in our everyday lives. As such, the purpose of the project is to research alternative methods in increasing the efficiency of the wireless sensor network via Ultra-Wideband (UWB) communication. This report focuses on finding an effective method of increasing the efficiency of wireless transmission targeting reactive jamming. There are two proposed methods for increasing the efficiency of defeating reactive jamming. The proposed method is to transmit a dummy signal before the real transmission so as to confuse the reactive jammer device. This ideology is based on the physical layer of the 5-Layer Model (the TCP/IP Model) where the physical characteristics of the communication are defined.
