Summary:RFID was develop as a solution to solve the issues that the barcode faces, but is still unable to fully replace barcode due to its high production cost. The proposed method of reducing the cost of the tags is to remove its expensive data storing IC chip and store the information on the tag itself. One of such tags is known as the multiresonator based chipless RFID tag. In this project, the objective is to design an antenna that is capable of operating in the 1.5 GHz to 3.5 GHz region for the multiresonator based chipless RFID tag. This report will include the design picture and the simulated far field radiation plots of the different antennas.
