Based on the theories of corporate strategic management, this paper critically analyses the current capital structure and operations of the state-owned Chongqing Biochemical Holding Corporation. The operational performance of the Corporation’s asset is evaluated against the various standards of capital valuation criteria. To improve the efficiency of asset management, the thesis proposes a three-tier state-owned asset management system through capital restructuring of the current companies under the Corporation.
