Description
Summary:The advancement in technologies has enabled engineers to design and implement any ideas they have that would improve the quality of life. Additionally, the introduction of readily available and easily programmable microcontrollers and low costing sensors has also allowed beginners in the engineering field to come up with further improvements towards energy efficient appliances and more options for smart home systems. The purpose of this project is to design and implement a smart lighting system for sleeping hours. The first objective of this project is to ensure that the lighting in the room would not affect the sleep of an individual. The second objective would be to provide automation, through the use of microcontrollers and sensors, as well as conventional controls for the lighting system. The purpose of this report is to highlight the researches and methods put into the development of this project.
