Description
Summary:This report documents the student’s MSc dissertation named Error Optimized Sampling Rate Conversion in Frequency Domain from year 2018/2019, under the supervision of Project supervisor Associate Professor Bi Guoan. Nowadays, as the development of science, electronic devices have occupied every corner of the world, because they indeed give us so much convenience. For example, telephone connects two people who are far away from each other, which makes so many impossible become possible, such as a video interview. Among the techniques that phone were introduced, Sample Rate Conversion, known as SRC, is significant. Therefore, improving the techniques of SRC helps ameliorate the living standards of human beings. In the past, many methods to realize SRC were reported. Recently, frequency-domain SRC is becoming hotter, due to less cost and complexity. However, these methods are not accurate enough for increasing high demand of accuracy. In this report, the emphasis is placed on how to optimize the frequency-domain method to obtain a more desirable result. By using sparse representation and convex optimization to calibrate sampling rate conversion in frequency domain, the conversion errors of the method are minimized. The software program is based on MATLAB.
