The paper reviews the development of STIPs in China, introduces present situation of Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen Science and Technology Industrial Parks. In the following, it establishes the index system model on competitiveness of STIPs and analyses of competitiveness of Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen STIPs, mainly centreing on technology innovation competitiveness, industry cluster competitiveness and government function competitiveness. Finally, it makes some proposals based on summing up existing problems in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen STIPs.
