This, coupled with an increasing amount of health conscious people, has caused the demand for electronic gadgets to enhance training loads and performance has increased as well. One of which is the cycling power meter, which provides relevant performance parameters to the cyclist, like cadence and power, in order to keep track of their progress. With such a demand and delicate yet advanced technology, power meters tend to be expensive, deterring many non-competitive cyclists to shy away from them. Continued from previous reports, this project focuses on conducting extensive testing of the developed powermeter with a full-bridge connection circuit. This is done in an attempt to contend against commercial powermeters in the current market. Firstly, static tests will be conducted by placing weights on the pedals to simulate a cyclist’s weight on the pedals. Next, dynamic test will be performed by rotating the crankset with a motor to simulate a cyclist pedalling. The two test results will be analysed in order to determine its accuracy and consistency in full-bridge connection.
