Synthesis and characterization of multidimensional lead halide perovskite

Hybrid organic - inorganic perovskites (HOIP) have proven to be a potential semiconductor for light - emitting and photovoltaic purposes. In recent years, developmental projects and researches have increase the efficiency and lifetime of HOIP cells. Researches have shown that changing crystallizatio...

In recent years, developmental projects and researches have increase the efficiency and lifetime of HOIP cells. Researches have shown that changing crystallization parameters have possibilities of changing characteristics of lead halide perovskite. This study focuses on the influence of acetic acid and sodium bromide on the crystallization dynamics of the mixed-dimensional n-butylammonium, methylammonium lead bromide (NBT2MAPb2Br7) perovskite. The synthesized crystals were then characterized through X-ray diffraction (XRD) and further phase matching analysis was done based on crystallographic information files (.cif).
