Description
Summary:Over the last decade, industrial companies have been aiming to achieve the goal of industry 4.0 where even Products testing process and supply chain get digitalized and automated. However, the problems surfaced when industry tried to convert labour work, industry 2.0, directly to industry 4.0. This project will be converting Philips’ Test and validation department from industrial 2.0 to an industrial 4.0 ready by developing a software to manage data. This system was a part of the student’s Professional Internship, where ticket request management system was set up to monitor the progress of individual test within engineering department. An additional effort was made to make this system an Industrial Sponsored Project for Final Year Project, to improve and extend the system by developing a software inventory System, to collect & gather details and data, and lastly, display them in User interface platform.
