In fact, NTU was ranked 12th in the world and 3rd in Asia in 2019 [2]. Being a research- intensive university, NTU has multiple laboratories for each major. For each lab, it has supplies and equipment to facilitate student and the researcher in NTU. However, some of NTU laboratories do not have proper logistic management that might lead to inaccurate data of the material and components. Inaccurate data will cause the laboratories to miss the opportunity to make an optimal decision regarding the material and components that lead to excess or insufficient inventory. Other than that, NTU laboratories are independent of each other even though both get their funding from NTU and have some material and components that are the same. With the same goal in mind as a research-intensive university, rather than missing the opportunities for more research projects, NTU laboratories should help each other especially when one of the laboratories need a certain component urgently. This goal of this project was to create a platform that will help NTU laboratories managing their logistics, tracking the flow of their material and components and make records of students that accessing these facilities while still maintaining the independence of each laboratory. This platform also will encourage laboratories to help each other in terms of material and components with the feature to see other laboratory stocks. By implementing this platform to the laboratories, the laboratory can gather data of the components and students that can be used to enhance the decision making of the laboratory. For example, the laboratory will be able to decide which equipment or materials to invest in. To kick-start the implementation to the laboratories in NTU, the project will start at one of the makerspace in NTU, Garage@EEE.
