Description
Summary:Eye-tracking has been increasingly popular in the past few years and has been used in human and computer interaction (HCI) in many industries such as gaming, smart devices, education and even health. The aim of this project is to establish a real-time eye-tracking system for the disabled to help them be more mobile and at the same time, allow them to be in touch with technology via a computer. Detailed research has been done in the human visual system and it has been evident that not many eye-gaze products are elderly-friendly. This project focuses on two different parts – hardware development of a headset and software development of the eye tracking software. It is composed of a PSVR headset and Moverio Smart Glasses and windows software for human-computer interaction. This device is now more convenient and can be easily used to access a computer.
