客音客韵 唱响狮城 :论2000年后 客家歌曲在新加坡的发展与本土化 = The development and localization of Hakka Songs in Singapore after 2000s

在全球化的进程中,传统的地理空间逐渐消失,世界犹如一个“地球村”。在全球化的进程中,人与人、文化与文化之间的流动更加紧密,为了使自身的文化不被同化与淹没,国家开始重新建构文化,立志将自身的文化本土化。再加上,自1980年代,中国在经济上迅速崛起,与中国建立一个跨域研究网络将有助于发展自身的经济市场。于是,在这些考量下,新加坡政府开始推动与促进传统文化在本土的发展。政府的推动也使将自身视为“文化使者”的客属会馆开始发展与革新传统文化。在众多客家文化当中,会馆极力推广与发展客家歌曲,使得消失灭迹三十年的客家歌曲重新在狮城唱响起来。本文将以客属会馆的纪念特刊与客家歌曲推广人的访谈为主要的研究材料。针...

The effects of globalization cause people and culture to interact more frequent than before. Hence, in order to prevent traditional culture to be assimilated by others, country began to reconstruct and localized its own culture. In addition, China rapid rise in economy in the 1980s also causes country to develop Chinese culture in order to establish a cross-domain network to further its own economic market. Therefore, under these considerations, the Singapore government start to to promote tradition culture in Singapore. To respond to the government’s call, the Hakka Chinese Clan Association starts to develop and innovate traditional culture, for example Hakka songs to fit todays’ society. With the constant efforts by the Hakka Chinese Clan Association Hakka songs starts to resurface in Singapore after disappearing for more than thirty years. This thesis will focus on the revival of Hakka songs in Singapore. Firstly, the author will analyze the measures taken by the Hakka Chinse Clan Association in promoting Hakka Songs. Next, the author will also analyze the content of the Hakka Songs to discuss about phenomenon of localization in traditional culture.
