The traditional way of storing data uses a client- server model which are prone to tampering. Technologies are being developed rapidly to minimize the discrepancies of data records which birthed a technology called blockchain. Business entities can be enabled by blockchain to store transactions and ensure that there is no tampering of records which minimize discrepancies. This project first studies how these entities can be enabled by blockchain that is private and permissioned using Hyperledger Fabric. Then a web application will be designed and implemented with the functionalities of a human resource software to demonstrate how it can interact with a blockchain network to perform various transactions. Future work could be to create a real-world application where various business entities create a blockchain network to perform business transactions.
