Summary:Singapore has one of the fastest-ageing population in the Asia-Pacific region and the amount are expected to be double by 2030 of people living with dementia in Singapore [1]. In recent years there is a growing number of younger patients have been diagnosed with dementia and the number has been a five-fold increase from 2011[1]. Thus, it is an appropriate measure to advance care planning, caregiver and doctor support are very important. The person-care PEAR system was developed to aid the care the healthcare personnel in providing better care for the dementia patients. The purpose of this project is to maintain and improve the current Android application which is used by caregivers, supervisors and doctors. The system provides them with the details of the patient's information from the current health status to personal interest details which allow the healthcare staff to have a better understanding of patients conditions and provide suitable care for the patients. The author had implemented a total of 5 create patient pages on the new User Interface design. In these 5 create patient pages, it helps to improve the user experience of the user and the performance of the application by using retrieving the necessary information for the page from the API. The author also implemented validation for each of the pages to prevent the mandatory details of the patient being left out. Hence, the system will ensure to provide better performance, reliability and security. This report would further elaborate on the implementation of PEAR front end development.
