蘇軾「黃州寒食詩帖」山谷題跋析義 = Interpretation of Colophon by Huang Ting-jian for Su Shih’s ‘The Cold Food Observance Festival' Manuscript

蘇軾(1037-1101)因詩文得罪朝廷,發生「烏台詩案」,被貶謫黃州(今湖北黃岡市)。北宋神宗元豐五年(1082),在黃州度過了第三個寒食節,蘇軾寫了兩首五言古詩〈寒食雨〉。 〈寒食雨〉表達了蘇軾的悲涼滄桑心境,他獨特的書法藝術,使得「黃州寒食詩帖」被元代的書法家鮮于樞(1256-1301)稱譽為繼東晉王羲之(303-361)「蘭亭序」、唐代顏真卿(709-785)「祭姪文稿」之後的「天下第三大行書」。 本文探討「黃州寒食詩帖」的黃庭堅(1045-1105)題跋意涵。在過去學者提出的三種解讀之外,另闢新說。從黃庭堅對禪宗的熟稔,認為其中「於無佛處稱尊」之語,是運用禪宗典籍,強調自己評價蘇...

Su Shih expressed his profound sorrow in his ‘Cold Food Observance Festival’ Poems. His distinctive calligraphy skills whereby the poems were written were greatly appreciated by a renowned calligrapher in the Yuan dynasty, Xian Yu Shu, who honored Su Shih’s ‘Cold Food Observance Festival’ Manuscript as one of the three running script calligraphy masterpieces. This paper discusses the meaning of the Colophon by Huang Ting-jian for Su Shih’s ‘Cold Food Observance Festival’ Manuscript, providing an interpretation that differs from the three usual explanations by the academia. With his extensive knowledge of Zen, Huang Ting-jian could have used the Zen’s way of expression to appraise Su Shih’s Manuscript, revealing his great reverence for Su Shih.
