The findings reveal that the elastic properties are strongly dictated by the size of the sheet and the temperature during loading conditions. Additionally, we also carried out the tensile loading of graphene submerged in water for its potential applications in nano-level fluid flow. The elasticity of the water submerged graphene sheet show a marked decrease due to the surrounding water medium.
