Financial reporting in Singapore : did the recent economic crisis affect timeliness?

Our study examines the relationship between the downturn of Singapore's economy in 1997/98 and the timeliness of financial reporting of companies listed on the SES Mainboard. Selected corporate attributes are subsequently examined so as to suggest reasons for the time lags.
