China's entry into WTO : impact on the Chinese yuan.

This paper aims at assessing how the Renminbi’s real exchange rate will react after China successfully gains entry into the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Our analysis has shown that the accession of China into WTO will result in an appreciation of the real exchange rate of the Chinese yuan.
