In this study, the compressive performance of modified Kagome unit cell namely strut reinforced Kagome (SRK) of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) ABSplus™ fabricated by fused deposition modeling (FDM) is investigated. The effect of the change in the geometric parameters such as diameter and height on the compressive properties is studied. The failure modes under uniaxial compression are simulated with the finite element simulations and the calculated effective modulus are compared with the experimental measurements.
