Description
Summary:This study attempts to investigate the relationship between ownership structure (managerial, block and government ownership) and the informativeness of certain financial ratios, namely: Profit margin, current ratio, net debt/equity, price-earnings ratio and RTO, in the Singapore context. Based on numerous empirical research, we hypothesize that high managerial ownership can effectively align management’s interests with that of shareholders to improve the informativness of ratios.
