The Tidal Resource Investigation, Device and Energy Tool (TRIDEnT) integrates resource assessment, power estimation, site-device matching, energy density mapping, and device suitability capabilities. TRIDEnT was prototyped in Matlab™ and currently uses hydrodynamic simulation inputs exported from DELFT3D™.
