This is a stark contrast to tourism in Singapore as a whole. This research has been undertaken to examine the reasons for the failure of theme parks in Singapore. This study aims to address the hypothesis of "All theme parks are successful". A SWOT analysis used in context within Swarbrooke's model had been conducted for our study. In particular, two case studies, namely Tang Dynasty and Haw Part Villa, were carried out, due to their parallelism in terms of the cultural theme which they provide. This enables us to compare and contrast the successes and failures of each attraction.Through our fiundings, similarities and weaknesses were observed in the two theem parks. Upon conclusion,it is hoped that more reserch would be conducted in this field, so as to realise the full potential of the theme parks in Singapore. 2008-09-24T07:35:37Z 2008-09-24T07:35:37Z 2000 2000 Final Year Project (FYP) http://hdl.handle.net/10356/9739 Nanyang Technological University application/pdf
