Electromagnetic interactions of on-chip antennas and inductors
A major concern at chip level is electromagnetic interactions between integrated antennas and passive elements such as inductors. In this paper, we report a study of electromagnetic interactions between on-chip monopoles and spiral inductors based on measurements and simulations. It is shown from ou...

In this paper, we report a study of electromagnetic interactions between on-chip monopoles and spiral inductors based on measurements and simulations. It is shown from our examples that electromagnetic interactions are insignificant and cause little effects on the resonant frequency of the on-chip monopoles and on the inductance, quality factor and self-resonant frequency of the on-chip spiral inductors, respectively. It is also found that the inductor affects the impedance matching of the on-chip monopole. 2013-07-31T06:09:05Z 2019-12-06T20:02:01Z 2013-07-31T06:09:05Z 2019-12-06T20:02:01Z 2012 2012 Conference Paper https://hdl.handle.net/10356/98984 http://hdl.handle.net/10220/12607 10.1109/APMC.2012.6421588 en |
