Temperature-independent strain sensor based on simplified hollow-core photonic crystal fibers
In this paper, Mach-Zehnder interference-based fiber sensors is demonstrated on an intermodal interference in the simplified hollow-core photonic crystal fibers (HCPCF) by splicing the HCPCF to single mode fiber (SMF) with an appropriate core-offset.
