A green and efficient approach for the synthesis of graphene decorated with silver nanoparticles is demonstrated by simultaneously reducing both graphene oxide (GO) sheets and silver ions with glucose as the reducing agent and poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP) as the surface modifier.
