| Summary: | Since joining SMU Libraries in March 2020, I have been impressed with the SMU community’s interest in the Libraries and the Libraries’ staff’s dedication, enthusiasm, and flexibility. These are all traits that have contributed to the Libraries’ impact on the SMU community (and beyond) and the advancement of student success, research, and collaboration during this past year. While 2020 has brought uncertainty and great challenges, there are occasions to celebrate as well, including SMU’s 20th anniversary. 2020 also marks the 10th anniversary of InK, the SMU institutional repository. InK has been an integral part of making SMU research available to the world, facilitating Open Access and maximizing SEO for discoverability of SMU research so that it is globally accessible. |
