Description
Summary:I was involved with the Asia Pacific Journal of Management since the late 1980s. At that time, the Chief Editor was Professor Khin Maung Kyi. I recall that Maung Kyi was a highly energetic and visionary scholar. He had an MBA from Harvard and a PhD from Cornell. He had joined the School of Management in the early 1980s when the National University of Singapore (NUS) was formed, and started the School’s flagship journal, the Asia Pacific Journal of Management, in 1983. The School of Management at NUS later became the Faculty of Business Administration when the number of faculty increased. The name developed into the NUS Business School in the 2000s. Professor Khin steered the Journal through to 1988 when Professor Lee Soo Ann took over as Chief Editor (see Lee, 2007 in this issue). Soo Ann had been Dean of the School and was a very kind and wise administrator and scholar. Issue Title: 25th Anniversary Special Issue
