Singapore’s positive reputation with multinational corporations for the efficiency of its industrial infrastructure and its stable, corrupt-free investment environment underscored this strategy. Led by Singapore’s government-linked companies, industrial parks were established in several Asian countries. Their progress is a test of Singapore’s ability to export its efficiency in industrial park development and management outside its borders.
