Description
Summary:In the 3-D space perceptual function of the human visual system, the occlusion cue plays an important role. New types of visual effects have been found in the case when the occluded objects and/or the occluding objects have motion. The perception becomes very different from that when they are stationary. One of the special features is that the whole of the occluded objects can be perceived more clearly than in the stationary case. Several new findings were made in the visual effect (anomalous size change, anomalous shape change and anomalous motion) which could not be expected from the stationary case.
