The problem has attracted much attention from academia and industries, and an extensive amount of effort has been put into developing efficient procedures. In this paper, a neural network approach based upon a competitive learning paradigm is proposed to handle such a problem. Computational experience shows that the procedure is fairly efficient and can effectively obtain optimal clustering results. 1993-01-01T08:00:00Z text https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/sis_research/1793 info:doi/10.1080/00207549308956760 http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/00207549108948024 Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems eng Institutional Knowledge at Singapore Management University Computer Sciences Operations Research, Systems Engineering and Industrial Engineering
