We conduct a detailed functional comparison by looking at a wide range of cognitive components, including perception, memory, goal representation, planning, problem solving, reasoning, learning, and relevance to neurobiology. In addition, we study the range of benchmarks and applications that these architectures have been applied to. Although no single cognitive architecture has provided a full solution with the level of human intelligence, important design principles have emerged, pointing to promising 2009-02-01T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/sis_research/5220 info:doi/10.1007/s10462-009-9094-9 https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/context/sis_research/article/6223/viewcontent/Integrated_cognitive_architectures_A_survey.pdf http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems eng Institutional Knowledge at Singapore Management University Integrated cognitive architectures Soar ACT-R ICARUS BDI Subsumption architecture CLARION Computer and Systems Architecture Computer Engineering
