Description
Summary:The three dimensional image reconstruction for near infrared diffuse optical tomography based on time-resolved measurement is studied. The reconstruction algorithm developed and the single plane measurement mode was evaluated on two simulated cylindrical models with two and three inclusions, respectively, and a solid phantom measured using a multichannel time-resolved single photon counting optical tomographic system. Reconstructed images show that the image reconstruction algorithm revealed the distribution of the heterogeneities, differential imaging method is in favor of the image reconstruction from noisy experimental data, and one plane measurement mode has great significance for 3-D optical tomography in clinical application.
