The period of observation is from 15 February 2020 to 18 August 2021. The observed patterns obtained from the descriptive data analysis sheds light on the effectiveness of social distancing measures in Singapore as well as the level of compliance among the country’s residents. Correlation analysis is used to explore the relationship between different sectors during the pandemic period. The results reveal a strong sense of compliance with government policies and personal responsibility to social distance. We establish that the Transit Stations Sector, and Retail and Recreation Sector are two of the most sensitive sectors to mobility changes, while Grocery and Pharmacy Sector is the most unaffected one as it is considered as a necessity during the pandemic. 2022-03-01T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/sis_research/7176 https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/context/sis_research/article/8179/viewcontent/Exploring_and_Evaluating_the_Impact_of_COVID_19_on_Mobility_Changes_in_Singapore_.pdf http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ Research Collection School Of Computing and Information Systems eng Institutional Knowledge at Singapore Management University COVID-19 Singapore mobility social distancing measures descriptive statistics correlation analysis Asian Studies Databases and Information Systems Health Information Technology Public Health |
