Description
Summary:Postcolonial and poststructural ways of thinking have radically changed scholarly approaches to the understanding and interpretation of culture, and have revealed ways in which power is embedded within the production of cultural knowledge itself. They have also precipitated new approaches to understanding the politics of group and individual cultural identities, and the cultural politics of landscape. The development and uptake of nonrepresentational theory has focused attention on how culture is represented by the academy, and on how such representations provide yet another facet of cultural politics.
