There were a number of important senior appointments as we introduced new offices and restructured to enhance our research, partnerships, engagement, and transformation capabilities. The title of the Annual Report, “Sustainable Growth”, points to the University’s commitment to economic, social, and environmental sustainability in how we work, learn, and play as an Engaged City University, even as we continue to maintain growth and development. The past academic year has been exceptional. In the area of transformative education, we launched a new co-curricular transcript, which charts students’ learning and development outside of the classroom. We also launched two new colleges: the College of Integrative Studies and College of Graduate Research Studies. The latter will also enhance our capacity to produce research with meaningful impact. In line with our strategy to promote growth in Asia, we opened our first Overseas Centre, in Jakarta, which will work closely with partners to deepen engagement with the Indonesian community through knowledge exchange, partnerships, research collaborations and professional development. This Annual Report also records the progress we have made in achieving the goals and targets set out in 2022 in our Sustainability Blueprint. 2023-01-01T08:00:00Z text application/pdf https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/stakeholder_reports/23 https://ink.library.smu.edu.sg/context/stakeholder_reports/article/1022/viewcontent/SMU_AR2023.pdf http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/ Report to Stakeholders eng Institutional Knowledge at Singapore Management University Singapore Management University annual report higher education Singapore Asian Studies Higher Education
