Epithelioid trophoblastic tumor (ETT) is an uncommon type of gestational trophoblastic neoplasia originating from the chorionic-type intermediate trophoblast. To our knowledge, ovarian involvement of ETT with initial presentation as an ovarian tumor has not been reported. A 32-year-old woman presented with a 9-cm left ovarian mass. No clinical evidence of uterine involvement was identified at diagnosis or follow-up. The patient had a previous history of hydatidiform mole treated with suctional curettage 5 years before. Ovarian involvement of ETT can be challenging to pathologists and may be potentially confused with ovarian epithelial carcinoma, particularly of clear cell differentiation. © 2011 International Society of Gynecological Pathologists. 2014-08-30T02:25:16Z 2014-08-30T02:25:16Z 2011 Article 2771691 10.1097/PGP.0b013e3181f7124e 21293282 IJGPD http://www.scopus.com/inward/record.url?eid=2-s2.0-79951773087&partnerID=40&md5=a2555351a268852186c88b38b8f704c9 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21293282 http://cmuir.cmu.ac.th/handle/6653943832/2688 English
