Relationships between ZnO content and properties of Pb(Mg 1/3Nb2/3)0.9Ti0.1O3 ceramics

The effects of ZnO content on structure and dielectric and ferroelectric properties of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.9Ti 0.1O3 (PMNT) ceramics were investigated. The PMNT/xZnO ceramics (with x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 2.0 and 4.0 mol%) were prepared. In the PMNT/ZnO sample, the maximum dielectric constant tended to increas...

Description
Summary:The effects of ZnO content on structure and dielectric and ferroelectric properties of Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)0.9Ti 0.1O3 (PMNT) ceramics were investigated. The PMNT/xZnO ceramics (with x = 0, 0.2, 0.4, 2.0 and 4.0 mol%) were prepared. In the PMNT/ZnO sample, the maximum dielectric constant tended to increase while the diffuseness parameter decreased with increasing ZnO content. The remanent polarization and the coercive field did not significantly change when x ≤ 0.4 mol%. However, for samples modified with x ≥ 2.0 mol% of ZnO, the remanent polarization increases, while the coercive field decreases, with the increasing ZnO content.
