Two calibration graphs, one for the determination of phosphate concentration and another for phosphate plus silicate concentration were established in the range of 0.1 - 4.0 mg L-1 and 1.1 - 12.0 mg L-1, respectively, with a detection limit (3σ) of 80 μg P L-1and 90 μg Si L-1. Sample throughput was 20 h-1 for consecutive determination of both analytes.
