Description
Summary:© The Institution of Engineering and Technology 2017. Finite-time stabilisation involves finding state feedback controllers which stabilise the closed-loop system in a finitetime interval. This paper deals with robust finite-time stabilisation of linear singular systems with interval time-varying delay. Based on singular value decomposition method and a generalised Jensen inequality, we provide sufficient conditions for the design of such controllers guaranteeing the finite-time stability of the closed-loop system. The proposed conditions are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
