Description
Summary:© 2017 The Ceramic Society of Japan. All rights reserved. 03wt% Br-doped Bi 2 MoO 6 samples as visible-light-driven photocatalysts were successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method. The Br-doped Bi 2 MoO 6 samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. In this research, the as-synthesized samples were specified as the orthorhombic Bi 2 MoO 6 phase with very high crystalline degree. The 3wt% Br-doped Bi 2 MoO 6 sample shows the best photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B and its photocatalytic performance follows the first order kinetics model under visible light irradiation.
