In the past there had been many violent incidents occurred in organization. The most severe violent case affecting the center was taken place in B.E 2551 when a group of 11 juvenile delinquents used weapons to assault personnel to injury, then they escaped. In B.E 2555 a group of children more than 10 people assaulted a newcomer child to death. In the past, violent incidents rarely happened but if they did, they would create severe and priceless impacts. Thus, it is necessary for organization to learn the past problems in order to set the measure for suppressing and protecting the recurrence of such violence. The researcher took the concept of learning by using a base case (Case Based Learning) as a center of learning, focusing on learning from the questions aimed at creating meaning, with the theory application of Knowledge Creation Company, Double-loop learning, then encouraged the research participants to learn the problems in their context so that they could make a linkage to various concepts, resulting in effective learning. The results from the research study are as follows: 1. Obtaining new tools and 11 sets of new practices appropriate for knowledge and responsibilities of personnel in each profession. The research knowledge was transferred to all operational personnel in the organization; moreover, with the usage of knowledge gained from the research as the training materials, the organization could develop new personnel in the organization. In addition, the research participants could get higher score in their core competency. 2. The research knowledge could be applied by managers in the modern organization for managing organizational risk and further incorporated in all other organizational projects and then included into the organizational annual operating plan B.E. 2559 and 2560. |
