| Summary: | From my experience as a art teacher for kids I found that art activities could help children to concentrate better on a task, and learn to think creatively. In addition, the sentimental value created when the children delivered their work to me encouraged me in my work. It become the inspiration to create this Art Thesis “An art gift from a teacher and little students” with the concept of collaborating with my student kids to create and deliver artworks to the elderly who are alone and desolate.
The artworks inspired by imagination of love and happiness that will be given to the elderly people, The works are a pure and tender message from the childrens little fingers. All of these works create happiness for both the givers, teacher and students, and the elderly who receive them
Presented this story through photographs and artworks in the form of Documentary Installation showing various incidents in the project. In addition, I also analyzed the artwork and project purpose.
This project not only presents an example of "giving" as a builder of friendship and good relations, but also show art as a bridge of sentimental values as well. |
