Summary: | This study has the fundamental objective of exploring general problem while making recommendations in learning management administration towards the ASEAN community of basic educational institutions in Phrao district, chiang mai province. Selected population and chosen sample include Director General and his Deputy of education institute, teachers and Chairman of Basic Education Committee Year 2557 numbering 308 persons in questionnaire format. Information gleaned from such will be analyzed using mean percentage average with standard deviation and strong written conclusion.
Findings of results of this study with the fundamental objective of exploring general problem while making recommendations in learning management administration towards the ASEAN community of basic educational institutions in Phrao district, chiang mai province confirm that there's a major practical compliance in moderation with most emphatic on the stipulation for activities including exchange program of learning, while the lowest score goes to supporting teachers and personnel within the institute as members of association/Asean teachers.
As for problems in dealing with learning management administration towards the ASEAN community include the fact that there's lack of official appointments of various committee members working on Asean issues and lack of general planning, inadequate budget for holding these activities. There is no formal meeting, notifying, alerting those concerned without responsible body clearly addressing Asean problems. Preparation of teaching and learning the Asean scope among the schools is found wanting and cannot be strictly applied in real life. No efficient educational follow-up, no set-up of Asean teachers union within the schools including the lack of general report on the running of these activities which simply don't address the practical realities encountered.
As for recommendations in learning management administration towards the ASEAN community, it behooves those education institutes to build understanding regarding the roles and duties for the Committee, to fix schedules and timetables in running various activities of Asean. Public relations and notifications on planning details of Asean education institutes to those concerned. There should be people assuming accountability from each institution creating networking co-operation amongst groups. Learning and teaching activities management for Asean should take into account the practical application for daily lives eg. the English language and languages of Asean countries. Moreover, investigative follow-up, evaluation should reflect actual performance results. The central unit should allocate adequate budgets to support working activities among the Asean countries, while encouraging and facilitating all teachers to be active participatory members of the Asean Community of teachers. |
