Summary: | This research aimed to study the roles of parents, paraprofessionals and community leaders who were involved with the support of rehabilitation for disabled children by Wawee community in Mae Suai district, Chiang Rai province, and to follow up the overall operation after the activity. Every time, the researcher took part as a fellowship in the activity. All data has been checked, analyzed, and reported as narrative and analytical summary. After the operation, the researcher found that all participants worked together and cooperated for the same purpose to be successful activity; social, education and health. Each participant completed their own task and associated each other. That resulted in the continued of community rehabilitation for disabled children in Wawee sub-district. There was a monthly meeting of disabled children, parents, and community leaders to strengthen community development. Moreover, there was a continued training course for parents and volunteers to develop the potential of disabled in community; education, health, job, and living. In addition, the disabled person should be learn and improve their social skill about usage of community resources and utilities of local wisdom in their community. |
