In this paper, we introduce this taxon as a new genus, Anthostomelloides, in the family Xylariaceae, with A. Krabiensis as the type. A detailed morphological description, phylogenetic tree, photomicrographs of A. Krabiensis, keys to Anthostomella-like genera, and a comparison of A.
